MP and Attorney-at-Law Wasantha Yapa Bandara has been referred to the Covid Treatment Center in Teldeniya today (27) after being diagnosed with Covid 19 this week.
The Central Provincial Health Department says that the MP’s wife, three children and close associates were subjected to PCR tests and quarantined at home.
The reports of those who were subjected to PCR tests are due tomorrow (27). The MP had attended several meetings after being subjected to a PCR test and steps have been taken to identify those involved and direct them to self-quarantine.
