Accomplished film producer, journalist, and entrepreneur, Buddhi Keerthisena has passed away at the age of 83, leaving behind a rich legacy and a lasting impact on multiple fields.
Renowned for his significant contributions to Sri Lanka’s batik industry, Buddhi Keerthisena founded Buddhi Batik, bringing about a substantial transformation in the sector.
His final rites will commence at 158/3 Lake Drive on the morning of October 18th and continued until 9 am on Wednesday (19). Later, his remains will be placed at Buddhi Batik House in Koswadi from 12 noon on Wednesday until Saturday (21).
The cremation ceremony for Buddhi Keerthisena is scheduled to take place at 4 pm on the same day at the Koswadia Cemetery.
