The Sri Lanka Agripreneurs’ Forum (SLAF), in collaboration with Initiatives in Development of Entrepreneur Approaches and Strategies (IDEAS) and TRACE, has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative named “Agcelerator.”
Spearheaded by SLAF, the program seeks to empower individuals who are passionate about agriculture and innovation. By offering a blend of idea validation, capacity building, mentorship, and seed funding, Agcelerator aims to transform innovative concepts into tangible, sustainable farming solutions.
By providing essential idea validation and capacity-building resources, Agcelerator enables agripreneurs to bring their visions to life and make a meaningful impact on local communities. The program also offers valuable mentorship opportunities, ensuring participants have access to guidance from industry experts.
Applications are now open and can be submitted through the SLAF website, www.agripreneur.lk. The application process entails presenting the proposed initiative through an initial application form. Applications will be accepted until the 4th of September 2023.
Selected candidates will undergo comprehensive training designed to equip them with the necessary skills to succeed.
Agcelerator stands as an invitation to visionaries, thinkers, and doers who are eager to play a role in steering agribusiness toward a sustainable and innovative future.
