Mahela Jayawardena, the Sri Lankan cricket advisor, and Chris Silverwood, the head coach, have resigned from their positions sources said.
Both of them submitted their resignation letters two or three days ago, but Sri Lanka’s cricket body Sri Lanka Cricket has not yet responded to them sources further said.
But it is not reported that Sanath Jayasuriya, the other consultant who participated in the Twenty20 World Cup with the Sri Lankan team, has resigned from his position so far.
We tried several times to contact Sanath Jayasuriya to inquire about this, but he did not respond.
