The police say that the complaint has been received from only one party. The Police Media Spokesperson says that a firm decision can be taken after taking note of the evidence of the other party, only then can it be concluded what has happened at that place.

“According to the information we have received, it is because of an argument that Gunathilaka Rajapaksa MP has been injured in this mine.”

“Investigations are underway within the relevant legal framework regarding the incident.” Police media spokesperson said.

Member of Parliament Mahindananda Aluthgamage has emphasized and stated that he did not commit any attack.
