A second stabbing incident has rocked Sydney, Australia, occurring within days of a previous attack. This time, the incident unfolded in a church, targeting four individuals, including a priest.

The attack transpired at 7:15 PM Australian time at Christ The Good Shepherd Church in Wakeley. Disturbing footage captured the moment a man approached the altar and assaulted the priest, with three other worshipers also sustaining injuries.

New South Wales Police swiftly responded to the incident, arresting a suspect after receiving reports of the attack. This event follows closely on the heels of a fatal stabbing at Westfield Bondi Junction shopping center in Sydney, where six individuals lost their lives.

A police operation is currently underway in Wakeley, with officers from the Fairfield City Police Precinct on site. Paramedics from New South Wales Ambulance attended to the victims, treating them for non-life-threatening injuries.
