The mobile phone of the driver of State Minister Sanath Nishantha, who was killed in a fatal road accident has been taken into custody by the Criminal Investigation Department.
The investigations are carried out based on a suspicious note that he had published through the WhatsApp account a day before the accident.
The driver is currently in custody. The Magistrate of the Welisara Magistrate’s Court ordered to remand him until the next 05th to examine this person who is currently undergoing treatment at Ragama Hospital.
