In a special anti-narcotics operation conducted from 3 am yesterday (18) to 3 am today (19), law enforcement authorities seized 1 kilo 370 grams of heroin, 7 kilos 800 grams of ganja, and 3 kilos 500 grams of marijuana. Additionally, 1075 drug pills were confiscated during the operation.
A suspect involved in a 05-acre ganja plantation was arrested, while 66 out of the 2166 apprehended suspects are under investigation based on detention orders.
Asset investigations have commenced for 14 suspects, and 226 individuals have been referred for rehabilitation. Notably, 169 suspects from the list of registered suspects of the Police Narcotics Bureau and the Special Bureau were arrested in this operation.
