Litro Gas says there is no solution to the gas crisis other than raising prices.
Addressing a media briefing held at the Presidential Media Center in Colombo today (26), Its chairman Vijitha Herath said that If the price of a gas cylinder is not increased to Rs. 5175, the supply of gas will have to be stopped.
If not, the gas company will have to face a loss of Rs. 250 million a day, he said
Therefore, the government will announce an increase in gas prices in the future, he said. He also said that the Gazette should come up with a price formula that is comparable to the world market price.
