The Secretary of the Government Medical Officers’ Association, Dr. Senal Fernando says that a special discussion will be held with the Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today (4) regarding the chaotic situation caused by the political interference in the transfers of doctors.
He added that the President had also agreed to hold a discussion on the issue.
During the talks, the union hope to request for an immediate end to political interference in the administration of doctors and the Ministry of Health.
