A brawl at Panadura railway station involving railway employees and another group of individuals has left several people injured, including the Station Master (Operations) and a railway employee, according to Panadura Hospital sources.

It is confirmed that four individuals and two railway staff members have been transported to the hospital as a result of the altercation that took place at Panadura railway station earlier today.

Panadura South Police have taken action by arresting a father and son in connection with the assault on railway workers. The son is currently under police protection while receiving medical treatment at the hospital.

The arrested individuals, a 50-year-old man, and a 23-year-old man from Panadura Sagara Mawatha, are believed to have been involved in the altercation, which reportedly stemmed from a dispute over ticketing.
