Today(20) morning , a lifeless body of a woman was found in Kandy Lake, situated in front of Dalada Maliga in Kandy.
According to police reports, the deceased was a 26-year-old mother of two residing in the Ampitiya area. Her husband is currently abroad, as per the ongoing investigation.
Authorities are trying to determine whether it was suicide or murder.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted today to gather further insights.
The Kandy police are conducting further investigations.
