Employees of the Sri Lankan Airlnes have expressed surprise over a decision by the minister to appoint a committee to probe a matter where a married woman has been recruited as a flight attendant.
The Minister told Parliament he is ready to appoint a committee to ascertain the matter if necessary.
The minister said this when the opposition queried wheter a married woman has been recruited as a flight attendent.
Sri Lankan employees questioned the logic behind ministers statement at a time Sri Lankan is incurrng a loss of 200 billion us dollars an year.
They point out the best way to verify the matter is to to send a query to the Human Resources department to find out her civil status without wasting money on committees
