Political sources report that the opposition led by the Smaagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) intends to bring a no confidence motion against Minister of Health Pavithra Devi Wanniarachchi due to her mishandling of the Covid 19 situation in the country.
It is reported that nearly half of the SJB’s MPs have already signed the no confidence motion. MPs from outside Colombo are scheduled to sign the motion today (12). It is then to be handed over to the Speaker.
