Sri Lanka’s cricket team has faced a setback in the upcoming Asia Cup tournament as three of their main prospects, Vanindu Hasaranga, Dushmantha Chamira, and Lahiru Kumara, have been forced to withdraw due to injuries sustained during the Lanka Premier League (LPL) tournament.
Among these players, Vanindu Hasaranga had particularly stood out with his outstanding performance in the LPL tournament.
As a response to this unfortunate situation, the Sri Lanka selection committee has taken the decision to replace these injured players with substitutes in the Asia Cup squad.
