Hospital sources say young people are reporting more discomfort after being given the Astrazenica or CoviShield vaccine.

When inquired Dr. Sunil de Alwis, Additional Secretary to the Ministry of Health said that there were reports that young people were more likely to experience body aches, fever, lethargy, and vomiting after being vaccinated but this was not a cause for concern.

He said that in the future priority will be given to those in the age group of 40-60 years, secondly to those in the age group of 20-30 years and thirdly to those over 60 years of age.
