The Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation Sumith Wijesinghe states that there is no need to wait in long queus to obtain the fuel as they have distributed sufficient fuel to the filling stations island wide.
The Chairman says that the country is already receiving the required stocks of fuel while diesel stocks which were due to be received on the 21st and 22nd of this month have been distributed as they were received before those dates.
He emphasized that there could be no shortage of fuel in the country at present as fuel is distributed on Sundays, Saturdays and Poya day.
