A group of 22 members comprising cabinet ministers, deputy ministers, state ministers and members of parliament are in talks to become independent from the government in order to implement the idea of forming a new coalition government reliable sources said .
It is reported that these parliamentarians are said to be deeply disappointed in the stubborn policy of the government which does not listen to anything and does not consult any body. According to these sources there are members of main ruling party Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna among them.
He said there was no definite decision yet on how the group would behave in parliament in the future.
It is learned that these groups have already started separate discussions with the opposition parties.
