Wasantha Yapa Bandara, Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Member of Parliament for Kandy and Chairman of the District Coordinating Committee has been diagnosed with Covid 19.
It is reported that he had visited the Yatinuwara area during the past few days for political activities along with other party members and supporters.
The MP is to be eferred to a Covid treatment center and all his close contacts including his family have been quarantined.
