Two people who were traveling on a motorcycle were shot by a T56 firearm near Bastion Mawatha in Minuwangoda yesterday (17) evening.
The shooters, who came from a car, fled after shooting at these people.
After being admitted to the Minuwangoda hospital, the motorcyclist and the rear rider who were injured in the shooting attack wasnadmitted to the Gampaha hospital for further treatment.
The injured are 33 and 43-year-old residents of Henatiana.
Minuwangoda police have started investigations to arrest the people who fired.
