The mass protest in front of the Presidential secretariat continues amidst heavy rains in Colombo. Demanding the President Gotabaya Rakjapaksa and the government to leave the protesters spent over the night from yesterday. The mass protest comprised with the youth, civil orgnizations and professional, which is currently attracting world attention, are still protesting at the security fence near the gate in front of the Presidential Secretariat, despite the cold and torrential rains.
It is reported that more people are joining the group despite the adverse weather conditions.
The protesters are demanding that the Rajapaksa family resign along with the President to resolve the political crisis and find an answer to the economic crisis.
