The body of Priyantha Kumara Diyawadana, who was killed in a brutal mob attack in Sialkot, Pakistan, has been taken to the Lahore Airport, according to reports from the Katunayake Airport.
The body was taken to the airport by SriLankan Airlines. L. Flight 186 is scheduled to depart from Lahore Airport for Katunayake at 12.30 pm today, the Katunayake Airport said.
The plane carrying the body is scheduled to arrive at the Katunayake Airport at 5 pm today and the next of kin of his family are scheduled to arrive at the Katunayake Airport to receive his body.
The body will be taken to the Negombo General Hospital for an autopsy, airport police said.
