Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe has temporarily suspended the current cricket governing body and established an interim committee to oversee Sri Lanka Cricket. This decision was made in accordance with the powers granted under the Sports Act No. 25 of 1973.
The interim committee, which is set to take charge, is led by Arjuna Ranatunga and comprises a total of 07 members. A related gazette notification is expected to be issued to formalize these developments today (06).
