In a startling incident that unfolded in Colombo, near the Central Post Exchange on DR Wijewardena Mawatha this afternoon (24), two individuals were abducted following a shooting.
Reports indicate that a group of three-wheeler drivers forcibly abducted a middle-aged person and a young man from a luxury BMW.
Allegedly, when the victims attempted to exit the car and resisted the abduction, two shots were fired into the ground, after which the abductors forcibly took them away in a three-wheeler.
The luxury BMW remains at the scene near the Central Post Exchange as authorities investigate the incident.
