Relatives have identified the body of Sri Lankan nurse Anula Jayathilaka, who was killed by Hamas gunmen in Israel on the 7th.
Sri Lankan Ambassador to Israel Nimal Bandara mentioned that this identification was made in Petah Tikva, Israel.
According to a video posted on the 7ThNews website in the first half of the second week of this month, Anula Jayathilaka’s family believed that she was alive.
However, the Israeli government confirmed that she died on the 17th and due to the family’s suspicions, the Israeli Embassy in Sri Lanka arranged for a DNA test.
Meanwhile, Anula Jayathilaka’s body has been identified by the family.
