Shah Rukh Khan in Stable Condition After Heat Stroke

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was hospitalized in Ahmedabad after suffering a heat stroke, Indian media reported. According to reports, Khan arrived in Ahmedabad to watch the Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

According to Indian news agency IANS, Khan was suffering from dehydration due to the severe high temperature of 45 degrees Celsius reported in Ahmedabad. Sources close to the Bollywood star revealed that he is in stable condition and currently under medical observation. Meanwhile, thousands of his fans gathered in front of the hospital. Following the massive crowd gathering, security has been tightened around the hospital.

Shah Rukh was strucked while he was in Ahmedabad to support his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders. Once of the co owners of the team celebrity boliwood actress Juhi Chawla has said to the media that the actor was feeling better now.

She further said that hopefully Sharuk will be back to cheer for Kolkara Knight Riders at IPL final. “Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last Tuesday night. But he is being attended to and was feeling much better this last evening [Wednesday]. God willing, he will soon be up, and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals.”

India is currently facing severe high temperatures, and several warnings have been issued to the public to protect against heat strokes. The highest temperature of 48° Celsius was recorded in Rajasthan. The Hindu reported that the water levels of the Yamuna River have dropped, affecting the water supply in Delhi. India’s Central Water Commission stated that the water storage in 150 major reservoirs in India has plunged to its lowest level in five years. Meanwhile, multiple deaths have been reported across India due to the high temperatures.
