State Minister Sanath Nishantha met with his fatal accident while he was returning after participating in two wedding functions in Kurunegala and Chilaw sources said. One of the weddings he took part in was his close relative son’s who is an admin of Sanath Nishantha’s Facebook page sources further said.
The wedding ceremony of Lahindu Ishan and Varsha was held at Nilawin Hotel, Bandarawatta Chilaw, Sanath Nishantha After learning about the incident, Lahindu Ishan shared a post revealing this.
At around 2 AM this morning the Jeep traveling the state minister collided with a container. He and his security police officer died after being admitted to Ragama Hospital. Reporters say a large number of politicians including ministers have visited Ragama hospital after hearing about the tragic incident.
