Ranil sings “Biwwa Neda Wada Kaha Sudiya” with beer-drinking Roy Tho fans!

While the Royal Thomian 145th cricket encounter ended without a win or defeat the President, an old boy of Royal College and some key politicians spent a happy time with their colleagues and students yesterday. Ranil Wickremasinghe visited the ground and came to the pavilion during lunch.

He had chats with present students, teachers, and old boys. Later he joined the celebrating old boys in a stand and sang a song with the band.

Before he performed he made a few remarks and said that i like all of you have a beer in your hand very good you are paying VAT 18 percent VAT for that. and he further suggested that “Now it enough eat and drink and let the band to pay BiwwaNeda Wada Kaha Sudiya”


Meanwhile, key politicians, Dr Harsha De Silva, Ravi Karunanayake, Mahindananda Aluthgamage, and Anuradha Jayaaratne are also seen among the fans. The strange woman attracted by the fans was USA Sri Lanka Ambassador Julie Chun. She sang with a band and joined with Dr Harsha for a dance.
