Nearly 20 parliamentarians who are independent of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya met with former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe last night (11) to discuss the formation of a new government.
The discussion focused on the plans of the new government and future course of action.
A senior member of the Samagi Jana Balawega told Lankasara that no members of the aligned minority parties of Samagi Jana Balawegaya had participated in the discussions so far. However sources said that they too would come forward to support Ranil Wickremesinghe in the future.
