Princess Anne of the United Kingdom visited Sri Dalada Maligawa, today morning (11) where she worshipped the Tooth Relic.
Princess Anne’s visit commenced with her arrival at the Asgiriya Police Stadium by helicopter. She was warmly received by Mr. Lalith U Gamage, the Central Province Governor.
Upon reaching Sri Dalada Maligawa, the Acting Diyawadana Nilame Nilanga Dela greeted Princess Anne, after which she proceeded to offer her prayers.
The royal visit drew a significant crowd, including both Sri Lankan and foreign attendees, with British nationals among those eager to witness Princess Anne’s presence at the Temple of the Tooth Relic.
