President Ranil Wickramasinghe visited the Colombo National Hospital this morning (19) to see veteran actor Jackson Anthony who is seriously injured after a car accident in Anuradhapura Thalawa recently.
The president met the hospital director and inquired about the shortage of medicines in the hospital and said that he will take immediate steps to prevent the shortage of medicines and said that he has a great responsibility regarding the lives of the patients.
The President has also asked the family of Jackson Anthony to inform him immediately if there is any need related to the quick treatment of Jackson Anthony.
The president has stated injured Jackson is in need of spiritual blessings are needed as well as medical treatment and he has told Jackson Anthony’s family to arrange such religious program and he will give his best support to it.
