Army Commander General Shavendra Silva says that President Gotabaya Rajapaksa instructed authorities to vaccinate t children between ages 15 to 19 with Pfizer vaccines, Silva said. The president has also instructed to inoculate children above 12 years with special needs with the same vaccine.
The instructions were given at the Covid Taskforce meeting convened this morning. The Army Commander said the vaccination will commence soon and there are about 50,000 children with special needs will be inoculated accordingly at their clinic.
