President Gotabaya Rajapaksa visited to the Parliament this morning and his created a huge upheaval in the chamber that completely brought Parliament proceedings to a standstill.
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa came for the parliamentary session while the Parliament session started. The president occupied the next seat on the right side of the Prime Minister.
At the latter part of Prime Ministers statement on the Economic situation and the progress of IMF discussion opposition MPs began to express their objection to the President Rajapaksa.
MPs started the Gota Go Home slogan. The entire Parliament House roared with Gota Go Home.
By now the speaker seemed to be under a lot of stress. The president was also restless. The speaker was stoned in a way that could not be said.
