The Public Utilities Commission (PUCSL) has approved a 10-hour power cut for the entire country tomorrow.
Accordingly, the 7 hour power cut planned for tomorrow will be increased to 10 hours.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Commission Janaka Ratnayake at a media briefing held today (29). Accordingly, the power cuts will last for 10 hours from 8 am to 12 noon tomorrow (30) at various times throughout the island.
In zones A to L and in zones P to W, there will be a 10 hour power cut.
In addition, several new zones such as M, N, O, X, Y, Z have been added. There will be 10-hour power cuts in those areas between 8am and 6pm.
There were seven and a half hours of power cuts today. The biggest power cuts due to the power crisis will take place tomorrow.
