A state-of-the-art digital X-ray examination machine, valued at 100 million rupees, has been installed at Matara General Hospital through the Ministry of Health’s provisions.
The machine is set to enhance patient care services and will become operational starting next week. Serving as the only modern X-ray examination machine in the southern province, it is expected to facilitate 100 examinations per day, benefiting the 150-200 patients who visit Matara General Hospital for X-ray examinations.
