France has launched a nationwide operation to hunt the escaped drug kingpin Mohamed Amra 30 who fled after a fatal confrontation yesterday. The suspect who was jailed for 18 months over a burglary escaped following unidentified gunmen attacked the Prison van while he was being brought to a secure prison in Evreux.
The 30-year-old man French media describes as France’s most wanted man and “The Fly” has several allegations including murders, thefts, and drug dealings. Even two days ago he has attempted to escape from jail. However attempt was defeated the Police caught him and he was detained in a high-security jail later.
Nicknamed The Fly, the notorious Amra was escaped by an armed group who ambushed the prison van around 11 AM yesterday on the A154 motorway in Val-de-Reuil in Normandy.

In the blatant shooting incident two prison officers were killed one’s wife is 05 months pregnant, Fench police told the media. Three more prison guards were severely injured from the shooting.
The team fled after taking Amra in two cars but later Police found one of the vehicles had been burnt. Police believe they have burnt the car to prevent them from identifying themselves.
Shortly after the incident, French President Emmanuel Macron vowed that everything was being done to find the perpetrators. A large number of Police officers had been deployed to find the whereabouts of the escaped criminal.
Footage from the scene shows an attacker in all black firing at the convoy. Police believe that the search operation will be successful as one of the attackers was injured in the retaliatory fire and might be treated somewhere and they may identify him.
Recently several attempts were thwarted in Sri Lanka too while the drug dealers were trying to escape a drug kingpin nicknamed “Harak Kata” who was detained in the Criminal Investigations Department of Sri Lanka Police.
