Jalani Premadasa sends a letter of Demand to Chamuditha claiming 01 Billion Rupees!

The wife of the opposition leader Jalani Premadasa’s has sent a letter of demand to journalist Chamuditha Samarawickrama demanding one Billion Rupees due to damages caused to her image during a YouTube interview.

Lawyer ‘Dimuthu Kuruppuarachchi’ has directed this interview on behalf of his client for defaming Jalani Premadasa by making false/false statements in an interview with Keerthi Ratnayake on the YouTube channel called ‘Truth with Chamuditha’.


It says that the YouTube channel should stop broadcasting wrong and defamatory statements related to Jalani Premadasa and seek an apology from her.

Similarly, if he fails to do so, within 14 days an amount of one billion rupees should be deposited in the bank and the relevant receipt should be forwarded by registered post, email, or WhatsApp, the lawyer informed in his interview.
