A person who returned home after receiving treatment for dengue from the Jaffna Teaching Hospital died suddenly on the road. He died while he was going to a teller machine to withdraw from a nearby bank.
A father of two named Selvarasa Sindhujan (31), a resident of Ariyale Rasathottam area of Jaffna, has unfortunately died.
When he went to the Jaffna Teaching Hospital to seek treatments for fever a few days ago and was diagnosed with Dengue.
He was discharged from the hospital yesterday and he fell on the road while walking to the Bank near the house and died on the spot.
He was immediately taken to the Jaffna Teaching Hospital, but the doctors declared that he died a few minutes ago.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled to be conducted on the person who died at the Jaffna Teaching Hospital.
