Heads of PSD and PMSD changed immediately!

Heads of President, Prime Minister, Security Divisions Directors have been changed with immediate effect.
Accordingly, Senior Superintendent of Police M.N Jamaldeen has been appointed as Director of Presidential Security Division and Senior Superintendent of Police W.P. De Silva has been appointed as Director of Prime Minister’s Security Division. Senior Superintendent of Police J.B.T Jayalath, who was in charge of the Presidential Security Division, has been transferred to the Ministerial Security Division.

Senior Superintendent of Police M.N Jamaldeen, who was appointed as the Director of the Presidential Security Division, was previously in charge of the Prime Minister’s Security Division.

Senior Superintendent of Police W.P de Silva, who was appointed as the Director of Prime Minister’s Security Division, previously held the responsibility of the Director of Naval Division.

Senior Superintendent of Police J.B.T. Jayalath, who was transferred to the Minister’s Security Division, was the director of the President’s Security Division who was in charge of the security of the previous President.

08 Senior Superintendents of Police and an Assistant Superintendent of Police have been transferred with immediate effect today.
