Governor Cabraal too tasked to find consultants for IMF help!

The President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has appointed  a special committee including Governor of the Central Bank Ajith Nivard Cabraal who opposed heavily to get assistance  from the International Monetary Fund (IMF)  to select an international law firm to deal with the IMF .

The committee is headed by Foreign Affairs Minister G.L. Peiris and Justice Minister Ali Sabri, Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Caraal and Finance Ministry Secretary S.R. Arttygalle have been appointed as the other members.

Meanwhile all preparations are underway to visit of  Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa  who is expected to visit Washington in mid-April to discuss with the IMF.
