GMOA to protest against acute drug shortage!

The Government Medical Officers Association states that the doctors have decided to gather in front of the Ministry of Health on the 20th to demand immediate measures to address the acute shortage of medicines in hospitals.
Dr. Chamil Wijesinghe, the media spokesman of the association, stated. In a situation where the patients are in dire straits due to the lack of medicines and surgical equipment, but the Ministry of Health is not taking steps to provide proper solutions He further said.

He said that the protest started at Anuradhapura Hospital yesterday (12) and today (13) the doctors of Badulla Monaragala Hospitals gathered.

The GMOA media spokesman said that if the government does not listen to the message given by these protests, then a protesting Black Week will start after the 20th.
