The Galle Face strugglers underlining their objective of exploring solutions through peaceful and democratic traditions, state that a man named  Pathum Kerner has acted against their proclaimed intention to storm the House of Parliament and the residence of the Speaker.
They say that Kerner defeated the objectives of the protest that continued until last evening without resorting to violence and in keeping with the request made by the security forces wholeheartedly agreeing with their request.
Kerner became an imbecile and was expelled from the Galle Face struggle since he harboured an ideology which was not compatible with the rest of the strugglers.
The strugglers assert that yesterday’s attack on army and police personnel and the seizure of their arms have to come in for review against the backdrop where a very healthy relationship was in progress between the security forces and the strugglers.
The Galle Face strugglers say that the only weapon they persuaded peace and unity while being unarmed.
They admit that the objectives of the struggle were ostensibly shattered by this incident.
They were also concerned over the statements issued by the Bar Association of Sri Lanka on the unruly conduct of the strugglers while appreciating the tremendous strength they solicited from the initial stages of the struggle. They also fear that any untoward incident may compel them to withdraw their support extended to the Galle Face strugglers.
Some of the top rung members that coordinated activities from the Parliamentary surroundings,  immediately asked the people to leave the vicinity of Parliament without being pawns of a conspiracy hatched by unruly elements.
It was not the ambition of the fighters.
They think that Pathum Kerner should bear responsibility for the destruction that occurred.
“You should take responsibility for all the destruction caused… They are trying to bring in an anarchic situation similar to Libya that is not our ambition .” the strugglers say.

But Pathum Kerner, who represents one of the ideologies of the struggle ground, has contradicted the position taken up by the rest of the strugglers.
In a post on his Facebook account, he recounts the events and denies his intervention in the incidents near Parliament.

He noted.

“I would like to inform you that  JVP’s Sunil Handunnetti convened the people to Diyata, he has edited that post, and it was not my plan to take the people to the Parliamentary premises.
I take this opportunity to inform you that when we received information that the people were going towards  Parliament, we also joined them. It was  in the first video I presented.”

Kerner has informed strugglers of the Gota Go Home village to use a better opportunity than this to sling mud at him.
The Golfface activists say that they have downloaded all the videos released by Pathum Kerner riding the JCB machine and crushing the barrier. Also, there is information about how he made these announcements on the Galle Face struggle site. The activists allege that Pathum Karner has removed these videos from his  Facebook account.
