A group of Jaffna citizens are requesting the relevant authorities to investigate an allegation of an incident where some received priority over others in fuel distribution.
Residents allege that a group of people in black dresses had access to a fuel tanker stationed on an urban roadway while the others denied the right to have the necessary quota.
They also claim that the perpetrators came in black-coloured vehicles to get the fuel.
The residents claim that they were in mortal fear to raise their voices against this high-handed act but took some pictures of the secret operation.
