Father Cyril Gamini Fernando, the head of the communication committee of the Colombo Archdiocese, has been summoned to appear before the Criminal Investigation Department on Friday (19).
Father Fernando, also the editor of the Gnanartha Pradipaya Sinhala Catholic weekly newspaper, stated that he contacted the Criminal Investigation Department to seek information regarding the Easter Sunday attack.
Father Cyril Gamini Fernando has been called by the Criminal Investigation Department previously from November 3 to 8, 2021, during which he obtained an injunction against potential arrest.
