The Thai police have charged a man, Songsak Songsaeng, with the brutal beating deaths of his two-year-old daughter and two infant sons. Songsak is also suspected of having killed two other infant sons from a previous marriage. The charges come in the wake of a discovery last week when the body of a two-year-old girl was found buried beneath the floor of a kitchen.

Investigations have revealed that Songsak Songsaeng has claimed to have a history of mental illness. He reportedly confessed to the crimes, citing an inability to tolerate the sound of his children’s crying as the motive behind these acts.

Songsak’s wife has also been charged in connection with the death of their two-year-old daughter. Additionally, his ex-wife has faced charges related to the deaths of the two boys from a previous marriage. All three individuals have been taken into custody. Songsak has been married four times.

The case came to the attention of the authorities when neighbors in the Bang Khen district of Bangkok reported suspected domestic violence earlier this month. Police intervened and rescued Songsak’s two daughters, aged 12 and four, while they were at home without their parents. The 12-year-old daughter informed the police that their parents had subjected her two-year-old sister to severe physical abuse, ultimately leading to her tragic death. She also played a crucial role in helping police locate the buried body, which was concealed beneath a kitchen floor in north-west Thailand.

Thai police have brought further charges against Songsak Songsaeng, linking him to the killing of two other sons he had with his third wife. This revelation came to light when DNA evidence matched Songsak with two infants whose remains were discovered a decade ago. His third wife had previously disclosed that he had killed all four of their infant sons and provided the police with locations where two of the bodies were buried. Authorities are now investigating the possibility that the remains of the other two infants may be located beneath a petrol station that was built over the area where they were allegedly buried.

The accused, his wife, and his ex-wife are now awaiting further legal proceedings as authorities work to uncover the full extent of these horrifying crimes.
