In response to the critical shortage of teachers in the Eastern Province, Eastern Province Governor Senthil Thondaman has taken action by granting authorization to the Provincial Public Service Commission for the appointment of 700 graduate teachers.
The governor had recently approved 633 teacher appointments within the Eastern Province, highlighting the pressing need for additional educators in the region.
