The country’s essential medicines are at a satisfactory level for only two more weeks, Government Pharmacists Association announced today.
The President of the Association Ajith Tilakaratne stated that there is not enough medicine available for cancer and kidney diseases at present.
However,State Minister for Production, Supply and Regulation Channa Jayasumana assures that steps have been taken to import the required drugs without any shortage.
