All doctors at Galle Karapitiya Teaching Hospital are urging authorities to promptly enforce the law against the four minor employees who attacked the cancer surgeon specialist, Dr. Krishantha Perera.
Dr. Kamal Kodikara, the Media Spokesperson of the Karapitiya branch of the GMOA, revealed that specialists at the hospital sought the support of the association, which has agreed to provide assistance.
Dr. Kodikara emphasized that if legal action is not taken against the four minor employees involved in the incident, the doctors and specialists at the hospital are prepared to take strict measures.
The GMOA has penned a letter to the hospital director, urging that specialist Dr. Krishantha Perera, who opposes strike actions causing inconvenience to patients, be treated in accordance with the law.
