Dinesh Gunawardena, the current leader of the House, is tipped to be appointed as Acting Prime Minister sources said .
There have been some proposals to the acting president Ranil Wickramasinge that an acting prime minister should be appointed until a prime minister is appointed in the all-party government sources further said.
Accordingly, parliamentary sources confirm that Dinesh Gunawardena is to be appointed as the Acting Prime Minister in the Parliament that will meet today .
