The Police curfew to Colombo and suburbs is being put in place to suppress the protest to be held in Colombo tomorrow, after deploying largest police force in history to Colombo has received special attention from the political sectors sources said
In addition to the 5,000 police force that could be deployed in Colombo, another 3,000 police officers had been brought in from outside provinces.
The curfew is imposed until further notice despite the fact that a total of more than 15,000 security forces have been called to Colombo along with troops from the Armed Forces and the Civil Defense Force.
In spite of this, curfew was imposed covering the entire police jurisdiction of 06 police divisions covering the center where the protest was launched.
